Great auto shop! I believe it’s woman co-owned and this seems to set them apart from competitors. Both owners and very kind and accommodating - thanks for almost always managing to get my cars in, even when you’re busy! As a Turo host, I appreciate the fast turnaround and great prices.

I have always had an excellent experience with KB Auto. Their staff are very friendly and thorough. I got my tires at a tire shop, and they told me that I needed over $3,000 worth of auto repair. When I went to KB and asked them to check, they informed me that I did not need any of those repairs. That saved me thousands of dollars. I wouldn't go to any other repair shop. They've always been above board, fair prices, thorough, good communication regarding when my car is going to be ready, and excellent service.

Scammers big time. I bought coupon from groupon for oil change i talked to lady over the phone she is nice and told me come over they have time to change it but when i went there guy was so rude he told me we dont have any space for oil change . Very bad business practice never recommend to anyone . Dont go there its waste of money and time.

This review is long overdue. I had my BMW X5 checked for an overheating issue. Initially, I had Pep Boys perform a preliminary diagnosis on Sunday (KB, my then-preferred auto repair shop, was closed). The next business day (Monday), I called Andy from KB to confirm the price for replacing a part. We agreed on the price before I had the car towed to his shop.

The day after the repair was supposed to be completed, I picked up my car and drove off the parking lot, but it overheated again. The car has a built-in safety feature that prevents the engine from starting if it reaches a certain temperature. It took me over 30 minutes to crawl back to the shop from across the street. I was glad that my car did not overheat on the freeway—the situation could have been worse!

I immediately went inside the shop and told Andy about the overheating issue. He did not believe me until he came out and saw the overheating signal on the dashboard. Apparently, he had not checked it. It turned out that the water pump needed to be replaced.

After I returned my car to KB due to the recurrence of the overheating issue after the repair, I got a call from a KB salesperson the next day. He sounded like someone from a car dealership and lectured me for who knows how long, accusing me of denying their diagnostic test scan service (a statement he made to cover KB's basis). He then offered me a discount to have the water pump replaced by them. I told him I had completely lost confidence in KB and would have my car picked up by a tow truck instead. On the day of the pickup, I was also blamed in his written report, stating that I denied paying for a car diagnostic test scan. Of course, I did not deny it because I did not even know I would have to pay for one, since Andy had agreed to check it before replacing the part that Pep Boys believed to be the cause of the overheating issue.

I ended up going to another auto shop, DJZ Automotive Repair on 9th Street (also in Rancho Cucamonga). They did not charge me for a comprehensive car diagnostic test scan. Since switching from KB to DJZ, I have replaced different parts as a precaution and can totally trust them. My car has been running like brand new, with the performance I expected.

I would give KB a 5-star rating for their smog check services, but not for customer service, accuracy, integrity, and expertise in the trade, which are lacking. When something goes wrong with the repair or when there are negative reviews, the KB salesperson responds by twisting the truth or making things up (e.g., me denying to pay for the diagnostic test scan service) to diminish my credibility. He is a great storyteller. If you read all the comments this KB salesperson has made in response to negative reviews, you will see a pattern. There is always a reason or an excuse for the bad experience they delivered. They are never wrong, but the client who provides a negative review is.

I understand why KB's salesperson (the one who presented himself like one who works for a car dealership) had to lie about me denying to pay for the diagnostic test scan service when I could fully afford it in order to cover KB's base. However, doing so will eventually backfire, and he will become so accustomed to his own lies that he won't be able to tell the difference between a lie and a fact.

Replaced bad control arms and strut tower parts.

Mike’s doctor degree in science is helpful when we discuss repair plans.

Also note that my tire balance was was way off normal range(Pic 3) , because the previous shop didn’t remove old weights before applying new one. Off by a quarter is consider unconformable to ride and my car was like experiencing earthquake at 70mph.

My car was left with this shop back on 3/14/2022 and just barely received my car back on 4/19/2022. I had to wait for an hour and a half, very frustrated. What was even more frustrating was the owner (Mike) who was the one taking sole responsibility of my Vehicle avoided me the whole time. He would avoid taking my calls or constantly make up lies to buy more time. This is by far the most dishonest Businesses I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Beyond my car being in this shop for over a month the car was never fixed and in fact my car accumulated more damage upon my retrieval. The air conditioning no longer works and theres Transmission Fluid leaking. I was refused service to have it repaired. Mike lied not only about how fast my turn around time to have my car back which would have been 3 days after the car was brought in on 3/14/2022 but he lied about the cost. I was quoted $1,700.00 initially which led up to $3,500.00. I was ignored numerous amounts of times I called and asked to speak with Mike and have been hunged up on. Don't do business here!

It was a simple task. It was a simple oil change. I recently discovered this while doing the same thing myself. They put a plastic ring on the drain plug instead of the copper washer that was supposed to be there. I also found that most of the screws securing the under cover were gone. I consider myself fortunate that my vehicle has not had any problems so far. Because after that, I moved across more than half the continent. I don't think this has anything to do with the boss and his wife. They are my friend's friends and they are good people. But they should seriously consider the honesty of their employees.
